VENDRA ("we," "us," or "our") operates joinvendra.com (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here. Use of the Platform is also governed by our Terms of Service.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

This policy applies to all users of the Platform, including visitors, free trial users, Designer Members, and Brand Members. The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account registration: name, email address, and password

  • Profile information: professional role, firm name, and location

  • Subscription and billing: payment is processed by Wix Payments — we do not store your full credit card number

  • Communications: messages you send to us via contact forms or email

  • Content you create: saved favorites, project boards, project notes, and recently viewed history

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, search queries entered, filters applied, brands and showrooms viewed

  • Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URL

  • Location signals: zip code you voluntarily enter for distance-based search

  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Platform is used

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account

  • Provide core Platform features including search, favorites, projects, and recently viewed

  • Process payments for Designer and Brand subscriptions via Wix Payments

  • Send transactional emails such as account confirmations and subscription receipts

  • Send product updates, feature announcements, and promotional communications — you may opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in any such email

  • Improve the Platform based on usage patterns and search behavior

  • Generate aggregated statistical insights about Platform activity that do not identify individual users

  • Improve search relevance, recommendations, analytics, and platform intelligence features using aggregated and anonymized usage data

  • Provide brands with aggregated, anonymized visibility and engagement analytics

  • Respond to your support requests

  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Lawful Basis for Processing

We process personal information on the following lawful bases:

  • Contractual necessity: to fulfill our obligations under your subscription agreement and provide the services you have requested

  • Legitimate interests: to operate, improve, and secure the Platform and to understand how it is used

  • Consent: where required by applicable law, such as for non-essential cookies or marketing communications

  • Legal obligation: where we are required to process data to comply with applicable laws or regulations

5. Do Not Sell or Share

VENDRA does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell your data to data brokers, advertisers, or third parties for their independent marketing or advertising use.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: we use trusted third-party service providers to help operate the Platform, including Wix (hosting and payments), Google Analytics (usage analytics), and Airtable (database infrastructure). We may use additional trusted service providers as the Platform evolves. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.

  • Brand analytics: brands on the Platform may see anonymized aggregate data about how often their profiles are viewed. They do not receive your name, email, or any personally identifying information.

  • Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

  • Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction with appropriate notice to you.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries outside your jurisdiction, including the United States. Our service providers, including Wix and Google, operate globally and may process your data in multiple countries. We take reasonable steps to ensure that any international transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

8. Your Account Types and Data

Free Trial Users (7-Day Trial)

You may use the Platform for 7 days at no cost. During this period we collect the same information as paid users. At the end of the trial period your account data is retained unless you request deletion.

Designer Members

Your saved brands, showrooms, design centers, project boards, and recently viewed history are stored and associated with your account. This data is private and not shared with brands or other users.

Brand Members

Your brand profile, showroom listings, and contact information are displayed publicly on the Platform as part of the discovery experience. Aggregated analytics about your profile views and engagement are available in your brand dashboard.

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform. Where required by law, we obtain consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings; note that disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality.

10. Marketing Communications

We may send you product updates, feature announcements, and promotional communications about VENDRA. By creating an account you consent to receive these communications. You may opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at hello@joinvendra.com. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional emails related to your account or subscription.

11. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or financial compliance purposes such as billing records. Certain data may remain in backup or archival systems for a limited additional period before permanent deletion.

12. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Payment processing is handled by Wix Payments, which is PCI-DSS compliant. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

13. Third-Party Links

The Platform contains links to brand websites and external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites and encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.

14. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information

  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data

  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

  • Request that we restrict or limit how we process your information

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under applicable law, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
